WILDSTREAM Lessons
Take your class on a LIVE expedition with Uncle WILD!
Around the World in 80 Ways for Schools
“Around the World in 80 Ways” brings KS2 & KS3 students face-to-face with wild places, wildlife, and unique ways of living — all streamed live into your classroom.
Step into a classroom without walls. Uncle WILDSTREAM Lessons bring students on real-time expeditions to wild places, wildlife encounters, and unique communities around the globe. Through the lens of “80 Ways”, we’ll explore the many ways humans and animals move, live, see, relate, and find meaning in their environments — from a turtle’s long journey across the ocean, to the boots needed to trek through a mud volcano, to the traditions of mountain herders or rainforest guardians.
Each LIVE lesson is an invitation to curiosity, empathy, and adventure. Students don’t just watch — they witness, question, and discover what it means to be a true explorer and custodian of the wild.
I’ll cover…
Roving Stories (On-the-Move Adventures)
Other times, the camera comes with me on the move, exploring a landscape or following a journey as it unfolds. This might mean walking through rice paddies and estuaries, hiking up a mountain trail, joining a festival in Vietnam, or riding alongside elephants in the forest. Roving sessions offer variety, spectacle, and a sense of exploration that keeps students on the edge of their seats.
Anchored Stories (Deep Dives in One Spot)
Sometimes the lesson focuses on a single environment or event, letting us slow down and experience it step by step. For example: watching the entire nesting process of a turtle, exploring the hidden life inside a single rock pool, or shadowing a ranger as they use their tools to protect a species. Anchored sessions bring depth, detail, and close-up insights.

LIVE Lessons are offered on a suggested donation basis. I want to make these sessions as accessible as possible for schools, while still supporting the work that goes into creating them from the field. The best approach is to contact me directly, and together we’ll agree on an amount that works for your school. This way, every class can take part in the adventure — no matter their budget.
